Learn why having mentors and a support system is important for the success of women entrepreneurs.

Women entrepreneurship is everywhere these days! Today’s women have willingly and excitedly entered into the most difficult territories, being an entrepreneur. This journey is never easy as women have to tackle not only the challenges of being an entrepreneur, but also the challenges that come with being a women entrepreneur. Regardless of challenges, women never give up and that is their strength.

One of the challenges women face is the lack of role models and mentors available. The biggest challenge while developing a business is to get the right guidance from the right advisor. Not every woman entrepreneur gets a good adviser who can help her during difficult decisions like financial, risk taking, diversification etc. A mentor can help her focus in the right direction.

In this workshop, Venture Cafè Foundation has teamed up with SCORE Boston to create a workshop that discusses the the importance of finding the right role models and mentors. Kate Strauchon, Co-Chair SCORE Boston, will lead this 90-minute interactive discussion. Walkaway with understanding the value of having mentors and how to find the right mentor for you. A wonderful opportunity to meet with other aspiring or current entrepreneurs in Boston.

This program is part of the InspireHER series through District Hall. InspireHer is an annual event bringing women entrepreneurial topics to the forefront.
